What you get

Business Central puts finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects and service on one ledger, with the same role-based experience for a three-person finance team and a group with many entities.

One general ledger with dimensions, multi-currency and consolidation
Purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash with approval workflows
Inventory, warehousing and light manufacturing
Jobs, resources and service management
Power BI and Excel reporting on the live ledger

Where it fits best

Mid-market organisations that have outgrown packaged accounting software, and groups with a handful of entities that need consolidation and control without the weight of an enterprise platform. Software Dynamics ISV products add the pieces the standard product leaves to the partner: statutory payroll, tax e-invoicing, grants, procurement, fleet and warehousing.

How we deliver it

A fit-gap against standard first, configuration second, extensions last. Extensions are the exception, and each carries a stated upgrade cost. Data migration is rehearsed at least twice and reconciled by finance before go-live.

What drives the cost

Licences are per user and set by Microsoft; implementation is the largest line. The number depends on users, entities and currencies, integrations, data migration and the gaps found against the standard product. The pricing page sets out the model, and a discovery workshop turns it into a scoped quote.

Frequently asked questions

Business Central or Finance & Operations?

Entity count, integration load and the statutory reporting you must produce from the ledger decide it, not headcount. Business Central suits many groups with a handful of entities; Finance & Operations suits many entities, heavy intercompany activity or regulated reporting.

Can Business Central run several entities and currencies?

Yes. Multiple companies in one tenant, multi-currency and consolidation are part of the product. The design decisions are the chart, the dimensions and which local rules sit in each entity.

What drives the cost?

Users, legal entities and currencies, integrations, data migration and the gaps found in the fit-gap. We publish the model on the pricing page and turn it into a scoped quote after discovery.

How do we start?

With a 45-minute consultation, then a discovery and fit-gap workshop on your own processes. You receive a written fit-gap and a phased plan before a programme is agreed.
